LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Four people are in custody after a woman’s head was smashed with a brick Tuesday night in Lancaster County, police say.

Manheim Township Police said that officers were called to the 1st block of Broad Street in Lancaster Township for a reported assault around 8:43 p.m.

A woman reported that she was hit multiple times in the back of the head by a brick and was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

Four people were charged and taken into custody, police said. They are currently waiting to be arraigned.
