Black and Gold Digital Edition: Week 1

ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA ( WJET/WFXP ) – The wait is nearly over.

After a busy offseason full of change and an interesting preseason, Pittsburgh Steelers football returns this Sunday, for real this time.

On this season’s first regular season iteration of the Black and Gold Today digital show, the gang returns to talk about a busy offseason for the Steelers including a brand new quarterback room with Russell Wilson slated to start.

Mike Fenner, Ashley Kaiser and Kent Urbanski break down the Steelers heading into week one in Atlanta as the Black and Gold get set to face the Falcons.

Each team will trot out a new starting quarterback this season with Wilson leading the Steelers and Kirk Cousins leading the Falcons while new Steelers Offensive Coordinator Arthur Smith returns to his previous stomping grounds as a head coach.

The BGT crew makes their week one picks after some analysis of the offseason, roster moves and preseason slate.
