(WHTM) – The Philadelphia Eagles are kicking off their season in Sao Paulo, Brazil against the Green Bay Packers. This is the first time the NFL has played a regular season game in Brazil in what will be an Eagles home game despite being nearly 4,800 miles away from Philadelphia.

If you did not make the trip to South America to watch the birds, you may have trouble finding it on your television.

Friday night’s Eagles game is streaming exclusively on Peacock , NBC’s streaming platform, starting at 7 p.m.

According to Peacock , the game will also be available through the NFL mobile app via NFL+, and through the local affiliates in the home and away team markets.

Peacock is currently available for $7.99/month or $79.99/annually and will be the streaming home of Sunday Night Football throughout the season.

Several Eagles players expressed displeasure with having to travel to Brazil for the season opener.

Eagles cornerback Darius Slay said on his podcast earlier this week that he didn’t want to go to Brazil. (He later apologized.) Wide receiver DeVonta Smith simply said, “No comment,” when he was asked about playing in Sao Paulo. Packers cornerback Eric Stokes said he was told not to leave the team hotel.

“We all grew up playing on Friday nights under the Friday night lights,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Thursday. “We might not be in Jamestown, New York, Houston or Cleveland. We are in Brazil. But it is still going to be Friday night, just like we all grew up playing this game. I got goosebumps really thinking about it.”

This will also be the first time fans get to see former star Penn State running back Saquon Barkley wear an Eagles jersey in the regular season after signing as a free agent in the offseason. Once a first round pick of the New York Giants out of Happy Valley, Barkley will now lead the Eagles backfield that’s bounced between different running backs LeSean McCoy was traded to Buffalo in 2015.

Barkley surprised local reporters in Brazil by displaying a jersey from Brazil’s national soccer team with his name on the back. He said it had been sent to him by the country’s soccer association.
