(WHTM) — Penn State is looking for more money from state government.

At a recent meeting, the university requested an additional $40 Million from Harrisburg.

They said would be spent on financial aid, faculty and staff recruitment, and upgrades for programs like IT, healthcare, and education.

Officials at the university say Penn State isn’t receiving as much aid as other state institutions.
