Steelers punter Johnston out for year with knee injury

( WJET/WFXP )– The Steelers will be without one their more notable free-agency acquisitions for the rest of the year.

New Steelers punter Cameron Johnston suffered a season-ending knee injury in the fourth quarter Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Johnston’s exact injury wasn’t specified and signed at three-year $9 million contract this past offseason.
