(WHTM) — L.L. Flooring (formerly Lumber Liquidators) was recently purchased by a private equity firm and although the company will no longer close all their locations, they are still closing several in Pennsylvania.

According to The Associated Press, L.L. Flooring signed a sale agreement with a private equity firm, F9 Investments, last Friday afternoon. This comes after the company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy back on August 11, 2024.

As a result of the purchase, F9 Investments will acquire more than 200 L.L. Flooring locations, a Virginia distribution center, and L.L. Flooring’s intellectual property along with other assets.

The agreement is expected to officially close by the end of the month.

Although this recent purchase saved L.L. Flooring from closing down entirely, the hardware flooring retailer is still set to close 211 stores, which includes nine in Pennsylvania, according to their website .

These Pennsylvania locations include:

• 1660 Lincoln Way East (Chambersburg, Pa.)
• 5630 Peach Street (Erie, Pa.)
• 213 West Lincoln Highway (Exton, Pa.)
• 150 Lincoln Highway (Fairless Hills, Pa.)
• 170 South Lycoming Mall Road (Muncy, Pa.)
• 10500 Roosevelt Boulevard (Northeast Philadelphia, Pa.)
• 1530 South Columbus Boulevard (Philadelphia, Pa.)
• 1524 North Atherton Street (State College, Pa.)
• 2920 Whiteford Road (York, Pa.)

L.L. Floorings was first founded back in 1993 and at its peak, the company boasted more than 400 locations across 47 states.
