    Pennsylvania National Guard unit formed hundreds of years ago will be dissolved

    (WHTM) — A Pennsylvania National Guard unit that formed over 200 years ago is ending.

    The 109th Field Artillery Unit dates back to the Revolutionary War in the 1700s and is based in Wilkes-Barre.

    The army is reorganizing and calls for the unit to be dissolved next August.
