    Paxtang Elementary School staff member’s vehicle stolen, police investigating

    DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A vehicle belonging to a staff member at Paxtang Elementary School in Harrisburg was stolen Tuesday.

    Swatara Township Police said they got a report of a stolen vehicle from the area of the school, in the 3500 block of Rutherford Street, just after 1:30 p.m. Police learned that the vehicle belonged to someone on the staff.

    During the investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle was found abandoned earlier in the day around 11:40 a.m. by Harrisburg City Police in their jurisdiction, and the vehicle was towed. Police said this was before the owner realized their vehicle was gone and reported it stolen.
