    Multi-vehicle crash at Mount Joy exit on Route 283 caused traffic backup

    LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A multi-vehicle crash along Route 283 at the Mount Joy exit is caused traffic to back up Tuesday evening.

    Details of the crash are still limited, but the roadway is back open after the crash had originally closed the road, a PennDOT spokesperson said.

    There are multiple ambulances on the scene, but the spokesperson said there is currently no word if there are any injuries. No fatalities have been reported.

    There was another multi-vehicle crash at the exit for Spooky Nook on PA 283 west that caused a brief disruption in traffic but it has been cleared.
