(WHTM) — Police have identified and charged a pickup truck driver from a hit-and-run crash at a York County park where a man was struck.

Northern York County Regional Police said Tuesday that a 17-year-old boy from Red Lion was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle, accidents involving death or personal injury, failure to stop and give information or render aid and reckless driving.

Police were investigating a hit-and-run crash at Manheim Adventure Park on Sept. 1, where a man was allegedly struck by the teen driver who was doing donuts in the parking lot.

The victim suffered a concussion and had to get staples in his head after being hit, police said.

As the pedestrian was struck, a flashlight that he was holding hit the driver’s side of the truck, possibly leaving damage to the suspect’s vehicle, police said.

During the investigation, police determined that the striking vehicle was a 2006 Ford F-150 and they found a dent on the driver’s side bed of the truck.
