    PSP investigates $1.4K worth of unpaid McDonald’s orders

    HAZLE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report they are investigating a fraud where over $1,400 worth of McDonald’s orders were bought with an expired credit card.

    According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to the 400 block of Hunter Highway in Butler Township, Luzerne County for an issue with mobile app orders.

    Police say an unidentified suspect used an expired credit card to make numerous mobile orders on the McDonalds App.

    The transactions accumulated to around $1,416.99 in unpaid orders.

    State police are continuing to investigate.

    This is happening with many fastfood and convenience stores like Sheetz. There is a delay in the charge to the payment. By the time its declined the people are already out of there

    I buy everything with my credit card or my debit card and no way in heck would an expired credit card work lol..it would decline immediately!! Someone is in trouble at that McDonalds 🤣
