SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two Pennsylvania men were charged after an argument led to a mobility scooter being hit by a Jeep which was hit by a forklift, state police report.

According to state police, Kermit Gribble, 81, and Todd Gribble, 59, both of Somerset, got into an argument on Monday Sept. 9. Kermit tried to leave on a forklift when Todd allegedly pushed a female who was present and threatened to run her over.

Troopers said Kermit then drove the forklift into a second woman’s Jeep. This caused the Jeep to run over Todd’s mobility scooter, valued at $1,200.

Approximately $17,000 total in damage was estimated, state police noted.

Kermit was charged with criminal mischief – damage to property, and disorderly conduct engaging in fighting. Todd was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.
