(WCIA) — Illinois’s second road test of the season will not only be against the No. 9 team in the country but played in the biggest stadium on their regular season schedule.

Penn State holds the all-time series over Illinois 21-6, winning ten of 12 at Beaver Stadium.

“They’re coming in here confident, but they’re also coming in here already going on the road and finding success in a tough environment,” said Penn State head coach James Franklin. “Nebraska has a storied program. They take a lot of pride in their stadium and their gameday environment as well, so I think that will give Illinois a ton of confidence coming into our place.”

Both teams are undefeated entering this game, but it will mark Penn State’s Big Ten opener.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
