Police: 15-year-old brings gun, drugs to school

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (WBRE/WYOU) — A teen has been arrested after allegedly bringing a gun and drugs to a school in Lycoming County.

According to the Williamsport Bureau of Police, on September 25, at Williamsport Area High School staff said a 15-year-old boy had a strong smell of marijuana.

Officials say the student was then escorted to the principal’s office where a search was conducted. Police say after searching the boy and his backpack, they found drugs and a gun.

The investigation into this incident and related criminal activity is ongoing.

This kid was selling drugs in the school and apparently ripped off someone and that someone told him he was a dead man so he brought the gun to protect himself against the other person!! That school has had 16 fights break out since day one of school. Drugs are being sold daily there ! The bad students that were supposed to be at other schools were brought back to that school and mixed in with the good kids. That’s where the disconnect happened! It all reflects back on the school board ! Get a plan in place for daily drug dogs in the school and check staff’s bank accounts for any changes that don’t add up. Most of the time with this amount of drugs it’s a staffer bringing it in because they aren’t checked.

This shit is insane!!! People need to really pay attention to the things their children are doing. This makes me so sad and angry. I’m glad that I got my children out of Williamsport school district when I did, it’s one of the worst schools I’ve ever had interactions with
