Free cat adoptions at the Adams County SPCA

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A local SPCA needs your help, and they are offering free adoptions this week to get it.

Many cats at the Adams County SPCA are looking for their forever homes, so the animal shelter is letting future, or current cat owners who are looking to add to the family, adopt the kittens for free.

This event will last from Oct. 2 to Oct. 5, and appointments are required for all adoptions. They can be filled out online.

The free adoption includes spray/neuter, microchipping, treatment for fleas & ticks, rabies & distemper vaccinations, de-worming, and testing for feline leukemia & feline aids.

The SPCA expects to add around 20-25 more cats and kittens by the end of the week. They can be viewed online at the Adams County SPCA’s website, which will be updated when adoptions are made.

You are asked to bring a carrier, or you can buy one for $5.
