    Route 22 reopens following fatal crash in Dauphin County

    DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A closed stretch of Route 22 in Dauphin County reopened early Wednesday morning following a fatal crash Tuesday night.

    A motorcycle and a pickup truck collided around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Allentown Blvd and S Arlene Aveon on Route 22, closing the roadway between Mountain Road and Blue Ribbon Road, the Lower Paxton Township Police Department said.

    A spokesperson from PennDOT said the crash was fatal and the coroner was called to the scene.

    Lower Paxton Township Police Department says one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

    There is no word on how the crash happened.

    Lower Paxton Township Police are investigating.
