    Police in York County trying to find missing endangered man

    YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing endangered man in York County.

    In a news release, York County Regional Police said Harry Runkle, 75, was last seen at the Naval Academy in Annapolis at about 5 p.m. Wednesday.

    Runkle is a dementia patient and he has a history of going missing, and then returning, police said. Usually, he is wearing a baseball cap and camouflage muck style boots.

    Runkle is driving a 2005 gray Hyundai Santa Fe bearing Pennsylvania registration ERG7345. He is described in the report as being 5’05” tall, weighs 180 pounds and has gray hair with brown eyes.

    Police believe that Runkle may be at special risk of harm or injury, or may be confused.

    Anyone with information on Runkle’s whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or call the York County Regional Police Department at (717)-741-1259.
