YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The two people beaten to death by a fellow tenant in a York County rooming house have been identified.

The York County Coroner’s Office identified the victims of Thursday’s alleged double homicide in Springettsbury Township as Tammy Quiel, 56, and Randy Zink, 66. Their cause of death is from blunt force injuries.

Rangel Vangas, faces two charges of homicide after police say they were beaten to death Tuesday night inside the home, located at the 3200 block of Eastern Boulevard, with a breaker bar.

Charging documents from Springettsbury Township Police show that there were inconsistencies with Vangas’ story when he was questioned. He allegedly admitted to beating both the man and woman, saying “I gave it to him,” and “I gave it to her,” according to police.
