LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The California-based fried chicken chain Dave’s Hot Chicken confirmed they will be opening a new location in Lebanon County.

abc27 news reported back in June 2024 when a customizable pizza franchise named MOD Pizza, officially closed its restaurant location at 1501 Quentin Road Suite A in Lebanon County. The company previously said this location had underperformed for a period of time which led to the closure.

On Friday a spokesperson with Dave’s Hot Chicken confirmed they would soon be replacing the former MOD Pizza on Quentin Road, which is situated right next door to the Starbucks.

According to Dave’s Hot Chicken, the new location is approximately 2,652 square feet in size and is going to employ about 40 people.

The company expects the new restaurant to debut in Q2 of 2025.

Once open, this will become the third Dave’s Hot Chicken location to open its doors this past year in the Midstate. Back in June last year, the California franchise opened its first Pennsylvania location in York County .

This opening was followed by a new Mechanicsburg location that debuted this past January.

Dave’s Hot Chicken was founded back in 2017 by three friends: Chef Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy Rubenyan. Today, the hot chicken franchise boasts over 200 restaurants that are now open, with 90 more locations expected to open later this year.

Only problem is that the access to the property sucks.
