DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A Dauphin County man was convicted Thursday of trafficking underaged victims and other sexual offenses, according to the district attorney’s office.

Kevin Alting, 52, pleaded guilty to criminal attempt to commit trafficking in individuals, unlawful contact with a minor, and indecent assault of a minor under the age of 16, according to the DA’s office.

Alting’s charges stem from crimes he committed in 2020 and 2021 when he repeatedly made physical, nonconsensual sexual advancements with two minors, the DA’s office said. Alting would also watch the two victims change and even offered one $40 in exchange for sexual favors, which they refused.

According to the court records, Alting will spend 3 to 12 months in prison with three years of probation. The District Attorney’s office says Alting also must register as a sex offender for the next 25 years.

A second person had previously pled guilty in connection to Alting’s case.
