LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The Lancaster County Bureau of Police announced the passing of a beloved member of the force, retired K-9 Stryker.

Stryker, a Belgian Malinois who served alongside Lancaster City Police Sgt. Reppert, from 2016 to 2019, was peacefully laid to rest last night with his partner at his side, police said.

Before retiring from the force, Stryker performed his duties as a dual-purpose K-9 in narcotics and patrol, police said. Stryker enjoyed retirement as a house dog with Sgt. Reppert and family before passing.
