HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — More adoptable pets are arriving in the Midstate from shelters in parts of Florida impacted by Hurricane Milton.

The cats are expected to be available at the Humane Society of Harrisburg Sunday.

The shelter is waiving adoption fees for all cats and large adult dogs through Oct. 16 — this Wednesday.

Nearly 100 animals were flown on a Wings of Rescue flight to the Chester County Airport Saturday afternoon.

They’re bound for shelters in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York.

Below are just some of the kittens bound for Harrisburg.
