Multi-vehicle crash shuts down Lancaster County road

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A multi-vehicle crash closed a stretch of PA 340 in Lancaster County Monday morning, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT says the crash occurred at 5:52 a.m. on PA 340 westbound between Horseshoe Road, Laurel Oak Lane, and the US 30 East exit to Philadelphia. The Roadway is currently closed.

There is no word on injuries or fatalities at this time. PennDOT estimates the roadway will reopen at 7:00 a.m.

Drivers are encouraged to check roadway conditions and updates online to avoid delays during their commutes.
