YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Northern York County Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash on Sunday that hospitalized a man and his daughter.

According to police, officers responded to York Road at Porters Road in Heidelberg Township on October 13 at 12:26 p.m. to investigate a crash. Witnesses told police that a white Ford Explorer made a left turn on York Road, striking a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, before fleeing toward Hanover.

A father, 53, and his 10-year-old daughter were ejected from the motorcycle upon impact. Police say both occupants were wearing helmets but still sustained extensive injuries.
