(WHTM) — Tuesday’s hometown heroes don’t stop helping, even when their usual mission is complete.

The Valley Lighthouse in Lykens likes to say it “Makes a difference one family at a time.” The organization serves twenty-three counties.

When it has extra food, it gives it away no questions asked.

“We’re helping anyone that is in need,” Director Stacey Rudisill said. “And by doing this, it’s shared to other families that sometimes don’t want to ask for the help, that know, that to help us here without any judgment.”
