Police say the man was putting gas into his truck with a gas can when a vehicle driving east on Lancaster Avenue hit him and did not stop. The man sustained suspected moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

Officers determined the striking vehicle was a 2015-2018 black Nissan Versa from recovered car parts at the scene, according to police.

The suspect vehicle should have a missing passenger-side mirror. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Columbia Borough Police at 717-684-7735.

There are more hit-&-runs any more than people sticking around, giving aid to the person they hit and calling for help. What is going on with our society?
