    One man, one juvenile steal $200k milling machine, cause $15k in damages to York Co. park

    YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Two York County individuals were arrested for stealing a $200,000 milling machine and causing damage to Kauffman Park in York County.

    According to Northern York County Regional Police, at 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 6, Tyler A. Stough, 21, and a 17-year-old accomplice stole a Wirtgen W50 DCI milling machine, valued at $200,000, and used it to cause over $15,000 in damages to Kauffman Park.

    According to a police report, the two stole the machine from N. George St. and 8th Ave. in North York Borough and drove it to the park, where they ran over numerous benches, trash cans, and parking signs. The machine eventually became disabled.

    Police say the two were charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief.

    Police say Stough awaits a preliminary arraignment, and a juvenile allegation was filed against his accomplice.
