    Fire crews fight house fire in Dauphin County

    DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Firefighters are fighting a house fire in West Fairview, Dauphin County.

    According to a Facebook post from Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Station #2- Kings Of The Hill , units are working a 1st alarm fire in a single-family dwelling in the 600 block of Oak St. in Uptown Harrisburg.

    The post says upon arrival, rescuers encountered a heavy fire extending from the first floor to the second. The platoon is working with multiple backfills due to multiple members being deployed to North Carolina for hurricane relief, per the post.

    There is no word about what caused the fire or who was involved at this time.
