A man is recovering this morning after getting stabbed at a Popeyes in Ogontz late last night.

Witnesses told police the stabbing victim went inside and had some sort of dispute over his food order, then began attacking one of the employees.

As store workers intervened and tried getting the man out, an employee pulled a knife and began stabbing the man, before he ended up getting away.

When police arrived, officers followed a trail of blood to the stabbing victim’s home, which was around the corner.

Medics took him to the hospital, where he is also being held as a suspect, since police believe he started everything.

The employee who stabbed the man is cooperating with police and officers think he used the knife in self-defense.
