ANNVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) — A locally owned Mediterranean-style eatery that opened last summer just announced it will be closing its doors next month.

abc27 news reported back in June 2023 when Lebanon County native Vito Mannino first opened his new Mediterranean-style restaurant on 35 West Main Street in Annville , which he called Room 101: The Med.

On Wednesday, Room 101: The Med shared on Facebook that after a little over a year of operation, they have not experienced the necessary growth needed in order for them to stay open.

“We have had to make the default decision to close our doors permanently,” Room 101: The Med said on Facebook. “We have not experienced the growth necessary to continue forward. We appreciate those of you that supported us over this time!”

Moving forward, Room 101: The Med’s regular hours of operation will be:

    • Thursdays // 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. & 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
    • Fridays // 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. & 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    • Saturdays // 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The last days of operation for Room 101: The Med will be on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2; both of these days will be by reservation only.

The Mannino family is no stranger to the food service industry over in Lebanon County – Vito grew up helping his father operate the family’s A&M pizza shop in Palmyra.

The former A&M location on 757 West Main Street has since been taken over by Lucky’s Pizza.

abc27 news will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
