HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Englewood Hershey recently announced it has paused its restaurant operations ahead of new improvements that are expected to debut next year.

The popular Englewood Hershey first debuted in the Midstate back in 2020 and is currently located at 1219 West End Avenue in Hershey.

According to Englewood Hershey’s website , the historic Dauphin County property features a taproom-style restaurant, an on-site craft brewery, a coffee roastery, and a performance/ events venue.

Earlier this week, Englewood Hershey shared on Facebook that it would be temporarily pausing its restaurant operations to make improvements, starting on Wednesday, October 14.

“We want to thank you for all the love and support over the years,” Englewood Hershey shared on Facebook. “As we look ahead to 2025, we’ve decided to temporarily pause our restaurant operations, effective Monday, October 14th, to make some exciting improvements and deliver an even better experience when we return next year!”

Englewood Hershey later clarified that although their restaurant operations are temporarily suspended, its event spaces will remain fully operational.

In addition to the announced renovations to Englewood Hershey, the business also shared they have made changes to their coffee roasting location. According to the Facebook announcement , the Englewood Roasting Company will now be called ‘The Farmhouse’ at Englewood Hershey.

As part of the rebranding, starting on October 21, The Farmhouse will begin operating daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We’re adjusting the name and hours to reflect our evolving space, but the cozy atmosphere and great coffee remain the same,” Englewood Hershey stated. We can’t wait for you to come enjoy your mornings with us and experience the fresh new vibes!”

It is unclear what specific changes Englewood Hershey will be making to their now-closed restaurant space or when in 2025 the improvements will be unveiled.
