GIANT Company recalls waffles due to potential listeria contamination

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — The GIANT Company just announced that it is recalling GIANT and MARTIN’S brand frozen waffles due to potential listeria contamination.

According to the GIANT Company, they are recalling several kinds of GIANT/ MARTIN’S brand frozen waffles after being alerted by supplier, Treehouse Foods, of potential listeria contamination.

The recall includes the following products:

• GIANT/MARTIN’S Homestyle Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707392, All Lots/All Codes
• GIANT/MARTIN’S Buttermilk Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707396, All Lots/All Codes
• GIANT/MARTIN’S Blueberry Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707394, All Lots/All Codes
• GIANT/MARTIN’S Chocolate Chip Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707398, All Lots/All Codes
• GIANT/MARTIN’S Multigrain Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826708195, All Lots/All Codes
• GIANT/MARTIN’S Chocolate Chip Waffles, 29.6 oz., UPC 068826715002, All Lots/All Codes

Customers who purchased an impacted product should discard it and contact customer service for a full refund.
