Vehicle crashes into York County home, three hospitalized

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Three people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a house early Sunday morning in York County.

Porters Fire Company said on Facebook that crews responded to the area of York Road in Heidelberg Township at 2:21 a.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, crews encountered an overturned vehicle and extensive damage to the residence.

Porters Fire Company says all occupants were removed from the residence, and the driver was freed from the vehicle. Two residents were inside the room where the car struck. Both were transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services.

Additionally, a third occupant of the residence was privately transported to a local hospital three hours later by private vehicle.

Porters Fire Company says all the victims sustained minor injuries.

The post says the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody by the Northern York County Regional Police Department.

The incident is under investigation.
