Bicyclist found dead near Fresno County intersection

A bicyclist was found dead near an intersection in Fresno County on Wednesday night.

The discovery was made around 9:20 pm in the area of Elm and Laguna avenues.

The California Highway Patrol originally said the bicyclist had died after being hit by a vehicle.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office has since clarified that the bicyclist was never hit, but instead died of natural causes.

it's so sad I lost my only son on June 26 2024 on Willow and kings canyon Rd same way and no one put it on the news cause they thought my son was homeless and no one cared for him. I pray to God that you get justice cause my son passed away from being hit from behind and police report says different and I have proof that he was hit from behind pray you don't get officer mark Martinez he lay don't like to do his job right lies about what really happened.
