    Salt Lake Int’l Airport adds American Express lounge to Concourse B

    SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — After the walk to Concourse B, American Express visitors to Salt Lake International Airport will have a new place to kick up their feet and relax while waiting for their next flight.

    On Wednesday, Aug. 14, the Sandy-based credit card issuer announced plans to open an exclusive lounge to eligible card members as part of the Phase 4 construction at the airport.

    The new American Express Centurion Lounge is expected to open in 2025 and will cater to passengers of all ages with an outdoor terrace, a full bar of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a full-service coffee bar with beans from a local roaster, and dedicated privacy areas.

    “We are thrilled to welcome the Centurion Lounge to the New SLC International Airport,” said Bill Wyatt, Salt Lake City International Airport executive director. “Guests will enjoy what promises to be an inviting atmosphere to relax and refresh during their journey. We’re excited to work with American Express to bring this never-before-seen offering at SLC to life.”

    The Centurion Lounge will also offer a rotating menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as armchairs, cafe seating, and quiet work spaces for card members to take advantage of.

    Phase 4 of the airport construction will complete Concourse B with 16 additional gates and a range of concession and retail options for travelers passing through the airport. The construction on Concourse B is expected to be completed in 2027.
