    SWAT RESPONSE: Man jailed after barricading in Harrisville residence

    HARRISVILLE, Utah ( ABC4 ) — SWAT responded to an incident of a barricaded individual in Harrisville Thursday morning, according to Harrisville Police .

    Just after 11 a.m. on Aug. 15, police responded to a burglary alarm in the area of 1500 North and 400 West. Upon arrival, officers determined a person was inside the residence.

    Officers made contact with the barricaded individual, who refused to exit. Officers then attempted further communication with no success.

    Elderly man ‘not expected to survive’ after Ogden e-scooter crash

    Weber Metro SWAT responded to the scene along with additional agencies, and after around four hours, police safely took the man into custody.

    The man was booked into Weber County Jail on charges of trespassing, failure to comply, obstruction, and assault on a police officer.
