SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Looking for a fun way to spend your long Labor Day weekend? You might want to check out these upcoming events. There’s plenty to join in on, including fun performances, rodeos, festivals flea markets, and barbeques!

Camp Floyd Days:
Where: Camp Floyd State Park – 69 W Main St., Fairfield UT
When: Monday, Sept. 2 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
What: Join in on Camp Floyd Days this Labor Day. At the event, visitors will be able to experience camp life through exhibits and demonstrations. According to a press release, while there, guests can visit the graves of soldiers who died in service, see artifacts from Camp Floyd from the time it was occupied (1858 – 1861) in the Camp Floyd museum, and tour the Stagecoach Inn which was operated from 1858 to 1947.
Tickets for the museum are $5 per person or $15 per family. Food will be available at Beefsteak’s Bistro.
Grand Oktoberfest Weekend
Where: Snowbird Center
When: Aug. 31 – Sept. 2
What: Oktoberfest is a highly-anticipated festival with live music, local vendors, and over 50 kinds of beer that runs from Aug. 10 – Oct. 13 every Saturday and Sunday. During Labor Day weekend, the event will be holding its “Grand Oktoberfest Weekend” , with a procession happening in the Oktoberfest Halle every day from 4:10-4:20 p.m. Tickets and a scheduled of events can be found online.
New 5-mile multi-use trail opens at Guardsman Pass near Park City Iron County Fair
Where: Iron County Fairgrounds – E Clinic Wy, Parowan
When: Aug. 29 – Sept. 2
What: Iron County will be holding its annual fair on Labor Day with a slew of exciting activities, such as a rodeo, car show, Labor Day Parade, and more. Although the fair is free to attend, some events require a ticket. To see the fair’s event calendar and purchase tickets for events, visit ironcountyfair.net.
Labor Day BBQ at Sundance Resort
Where: Sundance Mountain Resort
When: Monday, Sept 2. from 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
What: Sundance Mountian Resort will be celebrating Labor Day with an end-of-summer barbeque at the Lookout with food prepared by their culinary team. The menu includes smokehouse baby back ribs, grilled beer brats, and honey-chipotle chicken, along with plenty of sides such as baked mac and cheese, corn on the cob, potato salad, and more. Pricing is $34 for adults, $21 for children ages 4-12, and children 3 and under can eat for free.
Labor Day Luau
Where: Thanksgiving Point
When: Monday, Sept. 2
What: At Thanksgiving Point, there will be a Labor Day Luau to celebrate the holiday. There will be a dinner of Kalua pork, Teriyaki chicken, pineapple and coconut cakes that you can enjoy while watching the evening entertainment with Hawaiian and Polynesian cultural performances. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Tickets in advance are $35 for adults, children 3-12 $27, and under 3 $10. Day of ticket prices will be $40 for adults, $32 for children ages 3-12, and $10 under 3. Thanksgiving Point members will receive a 10% discount. There are also options for VIP at $49 advance and $55 day of.
Labor Day Triathlon
Where: Bountiful
When: Monday, Sept. 2
What: Join in on the Labor Day Triathlon in Bountiful. There are events of multiple categories, including Novice and Sprint. Packets will be available for pickup on Monday, Sept. 2 from 5:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. in the Bountiful Junior High Gym. Register and learn more online .
Lehi Heritage Day
Where: Lehi Legacy Center
When: Monday, Sept. 2 from 2:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
What: Lehi Heritage Day will be filled with fun celebrations with the theme of “Quilts and Cowboys.” The event will include a parade, a celebration to honor community members for their service to Lehi, as well as a classic car and bike show, among other festivities.
Magna Labor Day Car Show
Where: Magna Copper Park – 8975 W 2600 S
When: Monday, Sept 2. from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
What: The annual Labor Day Car Show will be taking place at Magna Copper Park, filled with classic and custom cars of all makes and models. The event is free to attend, with a $20 entry fee to put your own vehicle in the show.

When: Aug. 30 – Sept. 2
What: The first annual Golden Onion Days started in 1929 in celebration of Payson as an agricultural district and onion producer. Since then, it has become a well-loved tradition for the community. The event includes concerts, a carnival, a baby contest, car show, 5K and 10 K races, parade, fireworks, food and vendors. For a full list of events, visit the Payson City website.
Syracuse Flea Market
Where: Warehouse 22 – 1068 W 350 S Suite A, Syracuse
When: Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: At Warehouse 22 this weekend, there will be a flea market offering an array of vendors and food trucks. Warehouse 22 is often used for local events, such as charity bingo nights and Celebration of Life events. This will be the first time Warehouse 22 hosts a flea market.
“I love working in a space like this. We get to be involved with so many cool events each week.” Alexis Yocum, Warehouse 22 Event Planner, stated. “We are hoping this flea market event will pull the community together even more. We love this area and it’s people and are excited to be hosting such a fun event.”
