Westenskow said the entire first floor had an apparent gas smell, which prompted the hotel to be evacuated and the rooms to be ventilated.

According to officials, the gas leak was found coming from a laundry appliance on the first floor of the hotel.

No patients were taken to the hospital Monday night, and patrons were able to return to their hotel rooms after 11 p.m.

There is no further information at this time.
