    Update, 11:58 a.m.:

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Three juveniles allegedly with Ariana Aguilar during the time of the shooting of Jorge Llamas-Galaviz have been arrested following his death, according to a press release from Taylorsville Police.

Investigators believe they have identified all those involved in the incident and do not believe there is any current threat to the public.

“At the end, this was excellent work by our patrol officers and detectives,” said Taylorsville Police Chief Brady Cottam. “In less than 24 hours, the suspects were identified and booked on pending charges. Multiple items of evidence tying the suspects to the scene also were located. While we never want to have to investigate a homicide, we are grateful for these quick actions and significant steps toward resolution.”

No further information is available at this time.

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah ( ABC4 ) — A woman has been arrested for murder after the shooting death of a man in his Taylorsville condo early Sunday morning, according to Taylorsville Police.

Ariana Aguilar, 44, was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary (first-degree felony) and murder (first-degree felony).

At around 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 13, police responded to the 2200 West block of 4100 South on a medical call. Upon arrival, officers found people leaving the residence.

After entering the house, officers went into the bedroom and found Aguilar with an unresponsive man — identified as Jorge Llamas-Galaviz, 21. Galaviz had a gunshot wound to his neck, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Galaviz was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Shortly after, Aguilar reportedly began fighting with another female individual inside the house, and police detained Aguilar and took her to the police station. According to witnesses, there was a party at the house that night, and Aguilar and Galaviz had gotten into an argument.

Aguilar struck Galaviz, witnesses said, before leaving the house and returning some time later with two males and another female. Upon returning, Aguilar and the others allegedly pushed their way into the home and into Galaviz’ room.

First, voices were heard and then a gunshot, according to witnesses. The three people accompanying Aguilar allegedly then fled the house while Aguilar stayed.

Officers searched the neighborhood and found video that showed a red sedan parked nearby Galaviz’ residence. Officers could see three people leave Galaviz’ home, walk back to the sedan, and leave.

Police later found the red sedan parked in front of Aguilar’s Ogden home.

Officers contacted Aguilar’s daughter, who reportedly told police that her mother had called her from Galaviz’ home and asked for a ride. She and three juveniles then took her mother’s red sedan to Galaviz’ condo.

She reportedly also admitted that they had entered the home, and that Aguilar had forced the door open so they could enter.

Aguilar admitted to police that she and Galaviz had been having sexual relations since spring, and that he had gotten angry at her over an incident, which has not been disclosed. He reportedly put her property outside of his home and told her to leave.

Aguilar claimed she called her daughter to come pick her up, but her daughter never arrived. Aguilar told police she was standing outside of the home at a nearby park. She stated she never saw anyone else enter Galaviz’ home when she heard a single gunshot.

She denied having anything to do with his death, stating she entered the home after she heard the round go off, and found Galaviz shot in the neck. She then requested an attorney.

Family members of Galaviz told police that they had received a recording from Aguilar stating that she and her nephews killed Galaviz.

Aguilar was booked into Salt Lake County Jail on the aforementioned charges.

Charges are allegations only. All arrested persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

This was a scorned women who sadly involved her daughter & the teens that accompanied her. She has told so many stories she can't be believed.Sadly, her non mothering side involved her daughter, who is also lying & also those 2 young boys. All of them will serve some time & rightly so. You just don't take a life unless clear self defense. She's a little old to be bedding a 21 year old, he must have served as a cash cow for her or something, he had had enough of her nasty self * she responds by having or killing him herself. Classy bunch of folks they are. Condolences to this young man's family.
