ROOSEVELT, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Two suspects have been identified in the case of a missing Roosevelt woman who was found dead in her car last week , according to the Roosevelt City Police Department .

Kimberly Hyde, 60, was first reported missing on Oct. 7, according to Roosevelt Police. On Oct. 8, a vehicle registered to Hyde was found in Vernal , and the deceased body in the vehicle was later identified as Hyde.

Resuera, the adult suspect, reportedly left the country before he was identified as a possible suspect. Police said investigators are working with the FBI and international agencies “to facilitate his return to face charges.”

Police said Resuera will face several charges, including the following first-degree felonies: Aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, and aggravated robbery.

“This incident has profoundly impacted our close-knit communities, and we recognize the sorrow and concern it has caused,” police said in an Oct. 15 press release. “We want to assure the public that a thorough and diligent investigation is ongoing.”

Officials with several Utah agencies have assisted in the investigation, including police departments from Roosevelt, Vernal, and Naples; the Duchesne County and Uintah County sheriff’s offices; and the FBI.

Police said they will not release further information at this time to “protect the integrity of the case.”

“We extend our deepest condolences to the Hyde family,” Roosevelt Police said.

Charges are allegations only. All arrested persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
