OREM, Utah ( ABC4 ) — An undercover operation by Orem Police ended in the arrest of two Orem club owners who — despite having no alcohol license at all — allegedly served drinks to juveniles.

According to probable cause statements, Moises Gabriel Torres Navarro, 31, and Brenda Yasmin Guevara, 29, each face nearly two dozen charges after their arrests roughly a week ago.

Police reports state they had multiple encounters with “individuals who were under the influence of alcohol” leaving dances from a State Street club. Undercover officers went into the club and confirmed alcohol was being sold at the establishment. That club, police said, had no form of alcohol permitting at all.

At around 1 a.m., Oct. 5, police executed a search warrant on the club and found “multiple individuals under the age of 21” had consumed alcohol, according to breath tests.

“Their parents were contacted, and Juvenile Referrals will be submitted,” states the PC document.

Police seized all the alcohol in the club, including beer, hard liquor, and other alcoholic beverages, according to court documents.

Guevara faces nine counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, nine counts of negligently providing alcohol to a minor and one count each of consumption of alcohol in an unlicensed premise, failure to obtain a liquor license, and sponsoring a dance without a license.

Navarro faces the same counts as Guevara but also faces an additional two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and an additional two charges of negligently providing alcohol to a minor.
