    7 SUNY Canton faculty members recently promoted

    CANTON, N.Y. (WWTI) — A batch of SUNY Canton faculty members recently received a promotion to the position of senior lecturer.

    Among the most recent promotions were:

    • Jennie H. Flanagan, RN, MHA : teaches in the college’s Health Care Management program within the School of Business and Liberal Arts. She has three degrees from SUNY Canton, including her Nursing degree. She earned her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University;
    • Cullen Haskins: teaches in the Mechatronics Engineering Technology program within the Canino School of Engineering Technology and has worked at SUNY Canton for more than a decade. He earned his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University;
    • Christina L. Martin: teaches in the Early Childhood program in the School of Business and Liberal Arts. She earned a master’s degree in teaching from SUNY Potsdam and previously taught at the elementary level;
    • Kevin M. McAdoo : teaches math in the Canino School of Engineering Technology. He earned a master’s degree in mathematics from SUNY Albany;
    • Seth Nixon: teaches in the Graphic and Multimedia Design program in the Canino School of Engineering Technology. He is originally from Macomb and graduated from Gouverneur High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Denison University and a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago;
    • Stephanie Petkovsek : teaches history in the School of Business and Liberal Arts. Petkovsek is originally from Middleville and currently resides in Canton. She earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her master’s degree in history from SUNY Buffalo; and
    • Minhua Wang: teaches Cybersecurity in the School of Health, Science and Criminal Justice. He serves as the program coordinator and cybersecurity minor coordinator and has played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s cybersecurity curriculum.
