Theresa Native Reclaims Family Sports Page Pub & Grill

THERESA, N.Y. (WWTI) — In a press release the community of Theresa welcomes back Jody Denner and announces the return of The Sports Page Pub and Grill — formerly known as Sam’s Grill – which is a family-run establishment that has been in operation in some fashion since 1925.

“ After being a child in Sam’s Grill 40 years ago, when my grandparents (Bacons) worked with their cousins (Hodges) who owned it, it’s an honor to continue with the heartbeat of our community in their memory, ” says Jody. “ Our team is committed to creating a welcoming space where friends old and new can gather, share stories, break bread, imbibe and create lasting memories for many years to come. This is the community’s tavern just as much as it is my own .”

Jody Denner is expected to revitalize the local pub and property, promising to honor its rich history while infusing it with a fresh spirit of hospitality and camaraderie.
