A number of North Country residents without power this morning

WAATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – A number of residents in the tri-county region are without power this morning.

According to National Grid’s outage map , just over 2,600 customers were without power as of 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

Just over 1,300 customers were without power in Lewis County, which had a no unnecessary travel warning after 5 p.m. However, that was downgraded to a travel advisory as of 4:30 a.m. this morning.

St. Lawrence County has under 800 people without electricity while Jefferson County is over 600.

The National Grid website will have updated maps and can be used to report power outages.
