Lewis County Fair announces scholarship opportunity

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – The Lewis County Fair announced that up to 10$1,500 scholarships will be awarded to current New York State high school seniors or students enrolled in college.

The NYS Association of Agricultural Fairs and the New York State Showpeople’s Association are the sponsors for the scholarships.

The qualifying students must be active at the Lewis County Fair or with the NYS Showpeople’s Association).  All applicants from Lewis County must submit their applications through the Google form on the website no later than Friday, April 12.

Information is available at the Lewis County Fair office, through Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County as well as local high school offices.  Applications must be completed from the web at https://www.nyfairs.org/scholarships.htm .
