    Results come in from village elections around NNY

    WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – A number of north country villages went to the polls on Tuesday.

    In Lowville, incumbents Charles Terrillion and Danny Salmon earned re-election to four-year teams. Terrillion received 350 votes while Salmon got 229. Fire chief Joe Austin placed third with 216 votes.

    Watertown mayor-elect hopes to ‘be an example’ for young women

    Castorland village trustee Heidi Lehman was elected as mayor while current mayor Mervin Moser was elected as village trustee. Scott Moshier earned the other trustee spot on the village board.

    In St. Lawrence County, Mark Tebo unseated incumbent Tim Levison in the mayor’s race by a margin of 122 to 89.

    Incumbents Michael DiVincenzo and Matt Tebo both got re-elected to four-year terms on the board of trustees. DiVincenzo and Matt Tebo both held off the challenge of Robin Fetter.

    Linda Levison won a two-year term as a village trustee by defeating Trina Sheehan, 164-46.

    Tyler Law, Connie Hartle, and David Hartle were all re-elected to the village board in Richville. All three ran unopposed.
