    April 11: Carnegie 10 presents “The Nile Hilton Incident”

    St. Lawrence University’s Department of World Languages, Cultures & Media, and the Language Resource Center presents “ The Nile Hilton Incident ” on Thursday, April 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall Room 10 located on the lower level of Carnegie Hall.

    In this movie, a police officer in Cairo investigates the murder of a famous club singer. The movie is inspired by the true story of the Lebanese singer Suzanne Tamim, whose 2008 murder led to the prosecution of an Egyptian businessman. The film will be presented in Arabic with English subtitles.
