Watertown starting work on Green Street to last until end of May

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Work on a Watertown street begins today and it’s scheduled to last until the end of the month.

In a press release from the city, the Department of Public Works will be doing work on the street from Tuesday, May 14 until Friday, May 31. Green Street will be closed from Myrtle Avenue to Thompson Boulevard from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day during the project.

Public works will be using signage and flaggers to control the flow of traffic.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes for the duration of the work.
