SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater kicks off its 2024 concert season tonight, May 20, with a concert from the pop singer Hozier. Before fans head off to the event tonight there are a few guidelines that Live Nation wants fans to be aware of.

    Clear bag policy

The venue allows plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and/or small clutch bags (4.5″x 6.5″). The small clutch bags do not need to be clear.

If bags do not meet these requirements, the venue asks to return items to a vehicle before attempting to enter.

    Download your tickets at home

The Amphitheater is now mobile entry only. This means that the venue only accepts mobile tickets. The venue suggests downloading tickets to your phone ahead of time before arriving at the venue.

Download tickets using the Live Nation mobile app. Screenshots will not be accepted.

Previously delivered hard/paper tickets will also be honored.

    Cashless Payment

All venue transactions are now cashless. This means all sales will only be accepted with credit, debit or mobile payment options.

    Lawn chair policy

When concerts reach 14,000 tickets sold, the venue does not allow outside lawn chairs inside the venue. If permitted (check back 7-10 days before the show for confirmation), please keep in mind that chairs must not exceed the size of 35.5” x 26” x 37.4” when fully deployed. Inflatable seating units are not permitted.

    Food & drink

Outside food and beverage are not allowed with the exception of one sealed water bottle and one clear gallon-sized bag for snacks.

    Parking/Drop off

The venue’s general admission parking fee is $20 per vehicle. Upgrades to premier parking may be available on-site, while supplies last. Parking fees are also cashless.

Event drop off/pick up is located in the pink lot, this includes rideshare, taxis and friends/family. The walk from venue drop-off to the entrance is approximately 10 minutes.
