    Lewis County woman charged for allegedly biting police officer during arrest

    LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 27-year-old Glenfield woman is accused of biting a police officer during an arrest for traffic violations.

    Lowville Village Police charged Taylor Dennee with a multiple charges after she allegedly tried to walk away during the department’s attempt to arrest her in the Tops parkin lot in Lowville.

    According to police, Dennee was alleged to have resisted arrest when authorities were trying to put handcuffs her. Dennee then allegedly bit the officer, who required medical attention.

    She was also in possession of meth according to police.

    Dennee was charged with third-degree assault, resisting arrest, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, improper plates and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

    She was issued appearance tickets for the Town of Lowville Court.
